“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14 NIV)
Children are a blessing unto the Lord! We celebrate the children the Lord as entrusted to us here at Gwinnett Community Church. We see ourselves as an extension of the parenting process and seek to come alongside parents, the principle educators of the children, to teach God’s Word, present the gospel of Jesus Christ and provide opportunities for children to respond in faith.
We recognize each child in our care is fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God and seek to provide opportunities for them to grow their faith in a safe and encouraging environment. Please make us aware of any special needs your child may have and let us know how we can support you in discipling your child.
252 Growing Kidz Nursery, Toddler & Pre-K @ 9:30 am & 11:00 am each Sunday – We are blessed with a dedicated volunteer staff committed to “helping kids hide God’s Word in their hearts”. Your kids will be teaching YOU what they’ve learned each week! Twos, Threes, and Fours will also be using the Orange: First Look curriculum for age appropriate Bible Lessons, crafts and activities (see below).
252 Growing Kidz Children’s Church @ both 9:30am & 11:00am each Sunday for Kindergarten through 5th grade kids. Children who wish to participate in Children’s Church are dismissed from the sanctuary following worship music and invited to join us for a children’s Bible lesson in the Children’s Theater. With the help of the Orange curriculum, we use what is cultural to teach what is eternal. Our volunteer staff is extremely creative in their ability to correlate object lessons and activities that support the lesson each week.
