Missions is the heartbeat of God, and we love being a part of what God is doing all around the world.
We support a number of families and organizations that reach out with the good news of Jesus Christ. If you would like to be emailed with updates of what our missionaries are doing, contact us below.
Mission Trip – Honduras November 4-11, 2017 We are partnering with Forgotten Children Ministries just outside of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Their ministry is to “rescue the forgotten and abandoned street children of Honduras, which involves encountering these children on the streets of the cities and providing them with food, shelter, clothing and medical attention.” We are going to love on these children, share the hope of Christ with them, and encourage the staff of the ministry. One focus will be specifically to provide a community outreach in which we provide a Christmas gift for local communities by visiting people in their homes and personally ministering to them. We will also provide assistance for local ministry to those who live in and work at the City dump. There is a Grace home for the girls and a Grace Farm for the boys. The orphans are taken in from the streets of Honduras and it will be our honor to share Christmas with them. However, perhaps the biggest reason we need to go is to encourage those who work in the ministry throughout the year. Cost: $1700. For more information on our Honduras Trip, contact Dale Rector below.
Mission Trip – South Africa October 6-16, 2017 We are partnering with Living Hope Community Center just outside of Cape Town, South Africa. Their ministry is to “seek to reach people for Christ, bringing hope and breaking the despair of poverty and disease.” Living Hope seeks to help the poor and needy through a ministry to the homeless, a ministry to those infected with HIV/aids, a ministry to those in impoverished communities through home based care assistance, outreach to disciple children and teens, and finally an economic empowerment program. Opportunities to serve range from home health care assistance, ministry in the health center, working with the homeless, and assisting with the daily “life skills education” to help equip the children and teens of these poor communities. However, perhaps the biggest reason we need to go is to encourage those who work in the ministry throughout the year. Cost: approximately $2850. For more information on our South Africa Mission Trip, contact Dale Rector below.

MEDICAL MISSION TEAM
The Medical Mission Team was formed to help with local missions. We saw the need in our community for medical and dental services and felt we could help. Since 2006 we have hosted a free Medical/Dental clinic to provide medical and dental services to those in our community living under the State poverty level. This clinic has since grown to include vision and hearing screenings provided by Lions Lighthouse, a clothes and back pack closet as well as providing information onsite regarding women’s health issues, diabetes health and heart health. [ * Our SBC Cooperative Program giving is designated for the Baptist Mobile Health Ministry who provides the dental van for our Health Fair. email@example.com ] We also have LifeSouth come to our location regularly for a blood drive. LifeSouth is Gwinnett County’s blood mobile – so the blood donated stays in our community.
