“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue…Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.”–Proverbs 31:25-26, 30
Women. We are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. We are ingeniously designed with a special purpose. And although not limited to, we are nurturers, organizers, keepers of culture, and even architects of society through our families. God has made us equal with men, but gifted us uniquely for His eternal plan. Learning to balance Biblical womanhood in a modern world can feel like a daunting task. Because of this, GCC Women’s Ministry wants to provide multi-generational opportunities and outlets for women to fellowship, worship, study, pray, and do life together with Jesus as their focus. Here are some ways we can encourage women to get involved at GCC:
- Women’s Bible Studies (see below)
- Love in Action (see below)
- Events + Gatherings
- Volunteering + Investing in younger generations
[NOTE]: We are always hosting and promoting various women’s events and gatherings. Keep an eye open for announcements or take a peek at our online GCC calendar of events.
GCC Women’s Ministry desires to not only connect women with one another, but to also make sure we have a firm foundation in His Word. We offer various studies throughout the year. It is our hope that you are able to find one that fits your spiritual needs and schedule. Classes are held Tuesday mornings and Wednesday evenings. How to Study the Bible/Titus/Galatians
Join us for a 4-week study of Lord, Teach Me to Study the Bible in 28 Days. After this will be a 3-week course in Titus, followed with a 7-week study on Galatians. Titus and Galatians studies are available in two homework levels. Use the registration form to register for one, two, or all of these studies and indicate your version preferences.
Titus – Developing Character and Integrity in the Midst of a Society Which Has Lost Respect for God – How do you live with integrity in a nation without morals? Can the church effectively engage and change this destructive condition in our society? How does your life reflect your faith? You can change the culture into which God has called you.
Galatians – Who Has Bewitched You? Why and How?- As the gospel spread across the Roman world in the first decades after Jesus’ earthly ministry, conflict arose. Jews and Gentiles were believing the gospel, and a struggle over what it meant to be a Christian began. What does it mean to live under grace? Do you have to keep the Law to be a Christian? All of it or just part of it? Who is right? How will we know? God used an apostle to write a letter to some churches that were struggling with this issue, a letter that still speaks today. Its message clearly defines the relationship between Law and grace, and how Christians live under grace, led by the Spirit, free from bondage.

Love in Action is an extension of Women’s Ministry and was lovingly birthed to fill the needs of our church family when in life-stage transitions and recovering from illness. It is essentially a meals/transportation ministry for those in need. Whether your family has just had a baby, is healing from medical treatment, or in need of transportation for things such as medical appointments, it is the desire of Love in Action’s volunteers to serve you and shower you with love.
