FIRST FACES OF GCC
We have a warm, welcoming church and we want to be intentional about how we welcome guests and members alike. Everyone who attends Sunday morning services is here for a reason. Our desire is to make everyone feel welcome from the time they enter the parking lot until the moment they leave the campus. It takes committed members of our church family to welcome, greet, and connect guests and regulars to the family and mission of GCC. Some of these ministry opportunities are listed below.
PARKING LOT TEAM
This team is the first point of contact on campus. The purpose is to show the love of Christ by helping guests park and directing them where to go on campus.
This team welcomes all who enter the building. The goal is to greet guests and regulars with love and care. Greeters will also help guests know where to go and how to get connected upon walking through our doors.
Our purpose is about being a smiling face, a warm hug (or fist bump during this season of Covid), and an ambassador with a personal welcome into a loving community. It is more than serving coffee and donuts. It involves helping individuals and families find their place in the church and in the family of faith.
The first Sunday of every month, we celebrate communion. We have a team of people each month that prepares the cups and makes sure all is kept ready to remember the sacrifice of Jesus together.
