John Baker – Senior Pastor.   John says…“I was born in Thomasville, Georgia.  I was born in the hospital because I wanted to be near my mother!  When I’m not working, I like hanging out with my wife and son, reading, golf, and watching football.  Other than the Bible, two books that changed my life are The Life of D L Moody (written by his son), and Ragamuffin Gospel (Brennan Manning).  I am passionate about learning, teaching, and preaching the Bible.  I am passionate about my family.  And I am passionate about representing God well.”

Daniel Cowan – Worship Pastor.    Daniel says… “I was born in Gainesville, Georgia, and was the first of my family born in the South.  When I’m not working, I love spending time with my wife, Mary.  I also enjoy cooking (and eating!), playing games (sports, cards, board games…whatever), and working with my hands.  I’m always learning something new.  Other than the Bible, two books that have changed my life are Worship Matters by Bob Kauflin, and Untitled – Thoughts on the Creative Process by Blaine Hogan.  I am passionate about people.  I am passionate about my family.  I am passionate about the greatness of our God.”

Jeannine Gaiek – Pastor’s Administrative Assistant.    Jeannine says…“I was born in Lexington, Kentucky.  When I’m not working, I like to spend time with people who are dear to me, take long walks, and cooking.  Other than the Bible, a book that changed my life was Piercing the Darkness, Open My Eyes to the Power of Prayer.  I am passionate about making it possible for people to study the Word for themselves, and experiencing God speaking directly to them.”

Amber Guest – Childcare Coordinator.  Amber says…“I was born in Atlanta, Georgia.  When I am not working, I am studying psychology and neuroscience, busy with my family, hiking or doing various other outdoor activities.  Other than the Bible, a book that changed my life is For the Love by Jen Hatmaker.  I am passionate about my family, all children and helping others. I am passionate about letting people know that they are loved, cared about, and that they have enormous worth. I am also passionate about showing children how much God loves them and wants to know them.”

Diane Henderson, Director of Children’s Ministries.   Diane says… “I was born in Oneida, New York.  When I am not working, I can be found at the dance studio watching Sara Grace or hanging out with the rest of the family.  Other than the Bible, two books that changed my life are The Gratitude Attitude by J. Carl Newell and The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.  I am passionate about helping others, especially children, to establish and strive for a greater, more intimate relationship with God.”

Cyndi Lunsford – Church Administrative Assistant.   Cyndi says…“I was born in Montgomery, Alabama.  When I’m not working I like jet skiing, yoga, and musical theater.  Other than the Bible, books that have changed my life are Experiencing God and God Came Near.  I’m passionate about loving and serving others to the glory of God.”

Watson McClam – Church Administrator.   Watson says…“I was born in Florence, South Carolina.  When I’m not working I enjoy watching sports and woodworking.    I’m passionate about being around my family.”

Sherry McNeil – Church Staff & Administrative Assistant.   Sherry says…”I was born and raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia.  When I’m not working I like to attend my kid’s sporting events, sit by the pool,  or read a book.  Other than the Bible, music speaks to me.  I love: Francesca Battistelli – He Knows My Name, Jonny Diaz – Breathe, and Big Daddy Weave – The Lion and the Lamb.  I am passionate about my three kids: Luke, Ali, and Cassie.  They say, ‘You are the best Mommy in the Universe’ everyday, so I need to strive for that and be a Godly example for them.”

Travis Pegram – Pastor of Students and Missions.   Travis says…“I was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, right outside Fort Bragg (82nd Airborne kid)!  When I’m not working, I like to go hiking, lay in a hammock, or explore new places. Other than the Bible, a book that changed my life was Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. I am passionate about the family unit growing closer together and how that relationship, along with other relationships, can be a great reflection of God to the world.”
