Men’s Ministry

“Be alert, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong.” – 1 Corinthians 16:13

We desire to see men become faithful disciples of Jesus and loving leaders in their homes, churches, and communities. Our men’s ministry is designed to help men form supportive relationships with one another. We desire to empower and equip men to exalt, encourage, and engage.

Men need one another to grow in Christ and grow as leaders. God’s word says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Living in community allows us to sharpen one another through personal transparency, prayer, practical wisdom, accountability, and dependence upon the Spirit. We are in a spiritual war and need to go into the battle together.

Exalt, Encourage, Engage

Facilitating Christ-centered relational opportunities which allow men to meet and fellowship with one another. These include Men’s breakfasts, E-Groups, retreats, sports outings, father/child events, etc. From a relationship with the Lord and fellow men of faith we engage the world as men of God to build His Kingdom.

Men’s Breakfasts or Dinners

Men get together for food, fellowship, and encouragement as scheduled and these times may also sometimes include worship, activities, a speaker, or a time of serving together.

D-GROUPS

D-Groups are for the purpose of mentoring in the faith and for multiplying disciples and leaders. These groups consist of 2 – 5 individuals (preferably of the same gender) meeting as they choose to invest in one another. These groups grow organically from our other groups.
